Unit: 1st Ranger Platoon

 

Situation:

Gentlemen, you have shown great progress, and strength over your past assignment on D-Day.  You have had time to rest, now it is time to press on.  There is a bridge to our North-East at a city called Chef Du Pont, you are to go there and hold that bridge until you can be relieved.  You must not allow for any Germans to cross your lines!  This bridge is the main supply route from us and the rest of the mainland.  If you are to fail this task all of our progress could be lost and we will be forced to retreat.  This task will not be an easy one, the Germans are sure to be sending a large bulk of their forces down here to stop us, you must hurry.  I've replenished and supplied your platoon; now on your feet, it's time to step off. 

 

Mission:

It is the mission of the 1st Ranger Platoon, to take and hold the bridge of Chef Du Pont.  1st Platoon is to hold this position until allied forces are able to consolidate and forge large movement forces to carry on, further inland.  The conditions of which you can expect is both day operations and night operations.  If 1st platoon is to loose the bridge at any point, all forces are to retreat, regroup, and counterattack in hopes of regaining the lost ground.  Leadership plan accordingly.  Side Note:  Translators will be used for this operation, civilians and captured Germans will speak the appropriate language accordingly. (Or to the best of the Zeus teams abelites.)

 

Execution:

Execution of this mission is up to your platoon command element.
