30MAR25 Dear Brother, Today is the day, starting of my 3rd deployment against our nations enemies. Gone are the days of inexperience or uncertainty. Everything is deliberate. From moving cover to cover, speaking over the radio, raising my rifle, looking the enemy in the eyes and squeezing the trigger. Revenge was the name of the game today James. These bastards will continue to pay for what they did to you. I won't let happen to you happen to any of my guys around me. Today was only the beginning of this. I suspect the Russians will be wanting to get their land back in blood. This I will happily oblige them. I wish when I mail this out you would be able to read this and be proud of what we are doing here today. I know you are watching over us with your guidance and protection. Cpl Jolley 1st Platoon, India Company FPO San Diego, CA 92102 30MAR25 Missy, I didn't get the chance you write you this letter before we shipped out, for that I am deeply sorry. We didn't leave off on the best of terms before I left and that's not how I wanted our last talk to have gone, please forgive me. Things seem to be heading in a worse direction every single day, we are getting ready to step off on our first mission, I can't indulge in what it contains but, people will die, foe, friend, it doesn't matter, the loss of life in this war will be extravagant as it already has reached multiple boiling points. I know you are probably following along on the news. It doesn't tell the story of what truly is going on over here. I have faith in our militaristic might to defeat our enemy, but not until many more have to die. I don't know if my name will be on that list but there's always that chance that it might. If I don't make it home just know that my final thoughts will be of you, no matter what. Words cannot truly describe my feelings that I have towards you, it sickens me that we must be separated for such a long period of time. I would much rather be back in that house, solving our problems, holding you until we lulled off into a peaceful sleep. I promise that I will fight the hardest battles and the toughest wars to make it back into your arms one day, I can promise that. I love you with all of my heart and will find my way back to you in due time. Please tell everyone back home how much I miss them and will continue to miss them until I am back.
