War of Pulau

This is going to be a PVP and PVAI event

As always this is open to the public and I encourage everyone to bring your friends!

Situation:  War has broken out over the Pulau islands.  The Pulau National Army (PNA) have taken up arms to defend against the Russian army.  The PNA have called upon any and all help they can get to defend against their attackers.  Russian officials have stated they too have called upon private military contractors to help assist in the invasion of Pulau.

 

Overview:  In this FunOp you will be faced with PVP and PVAI.  Your goal is to take and control the map.  This will be a 12hr event and no one is expected to stay the entire time come and go as you can and as you please.

Allied forces in or assisting the PNA will be considered BLUFOR

Axis power in or assisting the RA will be considered OPFOR

Militia forces will be considered independent as they do not need to choose one or any sides. 

 

Kits are at your discretion and there will be only a few select “key” roles such as the logistics officer, VIP, and Army commander 

 

There are few but are limitations on what you can and cannot start with on your kits.  If you are a part of either of the armies then you will be given a standard issued kit and will be able to adjust as you go.  If you are choosing to be a contractor for either side you are able to create your kit freely with the expectation that you are making it reasonable and fair.  (Example kits will be shown in images) 

NOTE: THERE WILL BE A KIT CHECK PRIOR TO STEP OFF.

Signing up:

There will be three sign up options: you can choose Axis, Allies, or Militia.  Within these two forces you can choose to sign up in the axis or allied armies, within the armies you can choose to be a designated leader.  You can also choose to be a specialty role such as those listed above earlier.  Finally you can also choose, if you’d rather, be a PMC if you are PMC you can sign up as a group or as an individual.  If you choose to be with a group you must request on the forums as such “John Doe requesting PMC GROUP (PMC GROUP NAME HERE) (LIST ALL MEMBERS HERE)(OPEN TO THE PUBLIC / CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC)”  it will be assumed whoever is requesting is the leader of the group.  Be sure to say whether or not you are open or not to the public so that the leadership knows if they can place individuals with your group.

Finally you can also choose to be Militia: these roles can be played however you choose though keep in mind the limitations to this faction is limited to civilian or reasonably obtained weapons and vehicles only for the start of the game.

 

How will this 12hr event work?

At the start of the op both sides will have the same amount of starting positions and as you take more and more positions the map will be filled with your flag.  Each position will have a capital area be it a military base, capital city, or place of importance.  There is going to be your starting area which will have a default respawn area.  As you take places you will also gain teleport flags in areas so you’re not restricted to just your respawn area.

 

Once the op starts there will be nothing stopping it for a straight 12 hours.  I will be as available as possible with as little downtime as possible.  You may come and go as you please, just understand that if your entire team is offline you are at HIGH risk of a quick loss.

 

You may build kits as you’d like, DMR and Sniper classes should be limited though I will not strictly enforce this unless it becomes an obvious problem.  Before you disconnect, be sure to place all of your items in a storage box of some kind.  Once you log back on you will not be given the chance to “rekit”  unless it is a special case where your internet breaks or whatnot.  All other weapons, ammo, supplies and all will be received by logistical requests placed by the logistics officer.  Zeus will fulfill these orders in a timely manner as they are received.

These are all for Start of game kits.  Thermals can be purchased by your Logistics Officers.

 

How will logistics work?

The logistics officer will have access to the financial view of your faction.  They will also have the ability to place order requests for weapons, ammo, supplies, uniforms and so on.

 

How to gain money?

Sell looted items, equipment, uniforms, weapons, and ammo.  Take key points that aid in the monetary gain such as major cities.

 

How does respawns work?

You can gain respawn tickets through purchase, so be sure to get into as many engagements as possible and loot as many items as possible. 

 

Reason for invasion:

Russia has staged a larger scale war with worldwide powers.  Pulau is a staging area to move the fight further east.  Clearly with heavy resistance the PNA is fighting to hold their homelands from these foreign invaders, along with the help from allied NATO powers and supporting PMC groups.  Not everyone from Pulau is in support of this war nor the fight against.  Some have taken up the chance within the chaos to take up their own arms and loot from the wreckage.  A major strongpoint is going to be the airfields for both sides.  Surrounding factories and bases will be the runner ups.

Otherwise I would assume we were already a militia or maybe drug cartel
