Operation Long Claw

‘Vidda Provence’

1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Division

 

 

 

Situation

Over the past couple weeks there have been strings of reports to the CIA that a group of Russian military deserters have formed their own militia calling themselves “The Redeemers”.

These men have made it their ultimate goal to not only take revenge on their own country, but they have also vowed to tear the world of the west away and strip them of their power.

It has been reported that this group has been in contact with an unknown source to obtain a new generation of nuclear warheads.

With permission and cooperation of the Vidda government, they have allowed a detachment of Marines to take control of their unused military air base,

so long as we do not interfere with any civilian towns that have not already been confirmed to have enemy presence.

Mission

 With help from the VIdda government, they have given us some mild intel on the locations of hostile forces.

They have holed up into some unmarked nuclear bunkers where they are holding armaments, cash, officers, and possibly valuable intel.

During our time in VIdda we are to locate all 3 bunkers,

eliminate all hostile forces, destroy any caches, capture any high-ranking officers,

and find any intel that will lead us to the main source of these warheads.

ROE & Reinsert Policy

At no time are we allowed to enter civilian towns that haven’t been already occupied by hostile forces.

If hostile forces are seen we’ve been given the green light to make first contact.

When entering bunkers high explosive are NOT to be used.

ALL Air Wings must receive clearance from the Forward Air Controller prior to lift off, insertion of troops or equipment,

extraction of troops, equipment, EPOW's, and must get clearance to engage targets.
 

During or between engagements, reinserts will come in waves of at least 3, and will only be allowed to cross the LD during times of little to moderate contact (Zeus discretion).

If a player has been waiting to redeploy for more than 5 minutes, he may be teleported during times of little to no contact (Zeus discretion)

   Radio Frequencies:

   Shepard HQ: 152 – Channel 80 for Air, Channel 70 for Zeus, Channel 50 for Armor

   Platoon net will be on 343’s on Block 3, Channel 1

Shepard HQ, Air wing, Armor, and Zeus will have 152's and 343's, everyone else will be using 343's

IF YOU ARE SLOTTED AS A CAMERA OPERATOR, YOU WILL HAVE RADIOS TO HEAR RADIO CHATTER, BUT YOU WILL NOT BE TRANSMITTING TO THOSE CHANNELS. YOU WILL HAVE A DESIGNATED RADIO AND A DESIGNATED CHANNEL PRIOR TO BEGINNING OF OP. YOU WILL ALSO BE RECORDING WHAT YOU ARE WITNESSING USING VARIOUS MEANS, WEATHER THAT BE ZEUS, AC-130, AR-2 PORTABLE DRONE, ETC. IF YOU DO WISH TO BE A CAMERA OPERATOR, MESSAGE ME ON DISCORD OR MEU PM AND WE WILL MEET 1 HOUR PRIOR TO OP TO GO OVER A GAME PLAN.

 

IF YOU ARE HOLDING A ZEUS CONTROLLER POSTION, YOU WILL BE MAINTAINING ENEMY ASSETS TO ENSURE SERVER FRAMES DONT CRASH. AS WELL AS KEEPING IN CONTACT WITH LCpl T. E. WRIGHT FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT LOCATIONS, ASSETS, AND ANY ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THERE BE A MINIMUM 2 PEOPLE MAINTAINING A ZEUS CONTROLLER POSTION TO ENSURE FRIENDLY TROOPS ARE BEING TAKEN CARE OF AS FAR AS NEEDED TELEPORTS, AS WELL AS PLACEMENT OF FURTHER ASSETS AS NEEDED.
