That’s kinda just Arma, it can sometimes just totally ignore specs unless you do some serious server wizardry.

It really depends on the game and your personal preference. I have the Logitech X56, but, the general mindset I followed is don't copy what others do and instead play the game and fly whatever it is you fly and for all the buttons you press the most, put the top 5-10 on the HOTAS. From there, keep playing and just add more and more slowly. Do not add a ton at once.

That’s...not really a thing you can do. If it’s something that happened on the public server I’d try contacting an admin.
