Hello Recruit,

Welcome to the 15th MEU (SOC) Realism Unit. I am your recruiter, XXX XXXXXX, and I am here to help you navigate our basic training pipeline. Upon completing our basic training, you will have the honor of calling yourself a member of the 15th MEU (SOC) Realism Unit. In this unit we strive to simulate the operation of a Marine Expeditionary Unit by using real world Marine Corps organization and tactics. However, our primary goal is for our members to have fun within our policies and guidelines. So long as you remain professional and respectful of other members' immersion, you will always be welcome here.

 

 

Mod Setup

 

Our mods are downloaded and installed via a combination of Arma3Sync and the Steam Workshop.

Please, do not sign up for Recruit Training Class before you test your mods.

If you have any issues installing or testing your mods, please contact me for assistance.

Recruit Training Class

 

    Go to the Phase One forum board, find three days that suit your schedule (NOTE: They must be done in sequential order) and sign up for them.

    If for any reason you can't attend, don't be discouraged from signing up for another class.

    You must attend recruit training within 30 days or your application will be recycled.

 

Be prepared to declare your preferred Marine Occupational Speciality (MOS) at the end of the class. This preference will define your training pipeline.

School of Infantry: Pipeline Overview

 

After Recruit Training Class, recruits will be divided into two different paths based upon MOS selection:

 

HM-8404s: All Corpsman candidates will enter Field Medical Training Battalion (FMTB).

 

All Other Entry Level MOS will enter Infantry Training Battalion (ITB). ITB must be attended for promotion to PFC.

 

7599 Student Pilots: you will enter ITB (declaring a backup MOS) and transfer to ACE using the lateral transfer section of the forums after completion of ITB.

After attending SOI (ITB/FMTB/MCT), additional MOS training may be required for speciality equipment (e.g. weapons, vehicles, aircraft).
