    SITUATION:

    Situation Update

    The 15th MEU (SOC) and the 3rd Commando Brigade are tasked with assisting the armed forces of Altis against an armed coup that has occurred recently in their country. 

     

    S-3 Operations has determined four primary missions critical to the successful completion of offensive operations:
    - Conduct an Amphibious landing in AO BALANCE.

    - Conduct a Mechanized Deliberate Attack of OBJ MURDER.
    - Fortification of the airfield and protection of vehicular resupply at OBJ MURDER.
    - Conduct a Mechanized Deliberate Attack in AO BRAINSTORM, in order to gain control of OBJ THOUGHTSEIZE and OBJ DISALLOW.

    MISSION:

    It is the mission of the 15th MEU(SOC) to conduct offensive operations within the North-Western quadrant of Altis in order to facilitate a FOB. This will allow the 15th MEU(SOC) and the 3rd Commando Brigade to continue follow-on operations against the military coup.

     

    Higher Mission

    Conduct an offensive campaign against the Altis Defence Force (ADF) to liberate the country of Altis from a military coup that it recently suffered.

     

    EXECUTION:

    Commander's Intent

    The 15th MEU(SOC) will conduct offensive missions within the North-Western quadrant of Altis in order to facilitate a FOB, and to disrupt the Altis Defence Force's ability to react and inhibit BLUFOR's actions.

     

    Enemy Key Strength:

    Enemy forces are well trained, organized and equipped.   

    Enemy forces have support from the local populace.

    Enemy forces are located in fortified positions and have good knowledge of terrain.
    Enemy Forces are in good supply and have control have logistical bases.

    Enemy Forces have high morale due to the recent success of their coup.

     

    Enemy Key Weakness:

    Lack deep strike defenses.
    Enemy forces unaware of BLUFOR's plans.
    Enemy Forces will be attacked at an inopportune time for them, creating chaos in their communications.

     

    Exploitation Plan:

    Use our current movement capabilities to force offensive operations and push the enemy deeper into the mainland.

    Usage of our control over the airspace to allow for logistical resupplies and close air support.

    Use rapid planning to destroy high pay-off targets.

     

    Endstate:   

    OBJ MURDER captured.
    Vehicular resupply conducted at the NW Airfield.
    OBJ THOUGHTSEIZE captured.

    OBJ DISALLOW captured.

     

    Scheme of Maneuver

    The 15th MEU(SOC) & the 3CB will conduct an amphibious assault onto the beach neighboring the NW Airfield and move to capture it. After capturing the airfield and receiving a resupply,  they will move on to Oreokastro and capture the city and the neighboring castle.

    Scheme of Fires
    Task Force Commander will retain Priority of Fires on all platforms for the duration of the Operation.

    ADMIN AND LOGISTICS:

     

    Rules of Engagement (ROE)

    The Altis Defense Force (ADF) are to be considered hostile by MEU HQ and should be engaged on sight.
    Uniformed or semi-Uniformed Regular & Irregular forces, or individuals with Heavy military-grade weapons, are considered hostile and should be engaged on sight.
    Destruction of Civilian Houses and Infrastructure should be avoided, except as tactically or strategically required, or in self defense.
    Engagement of unarmed, non-uniformed personnel requires Task Force Commander approval.

     

    CASEVAC/Reinsertion Plan

    Reinsertion intent is to be conducted by ACE Transport or ACP Transport as required.

     

    Enemy Prisoners of War (EPWs)

    Any unit that captures a prisoner of war will follow all rules of armed conflict and treat the prisoners humanely. Search, silence, segregate, safeguard and tag all EPWs and bring them to the senior leadership.

     

    Ammo/Loadouts

    All resupplies will be conducted in-game.

  3. My server was recently re-installed and I don't remember if there is anywhere I can find our custom difficulty settings that go into the TCA Game Admin .profile file. If anyone has a link, or screenshot, that would be great. Thanks!

  4. Hey everyone-

     

    As many of you mission makers may know, when spawning LHDs in the Eden Editor, the ship is presented as a transparent, blue object with no solid faces to put things on to. So my question is, does anyone have a good working way they have figured out to go about creating templates with LHDs in them and spawning players, vehicles, etc. on them? I don't know if any of the ACE guys have a working version for their trainings and what not, but if any one has a working template as an example, that works too. However, I would prefer to know the method as well so that I can play around with it a bit. Thanks!
