  4. Just Mind-splatter / Spit-balling here: It being a Public Op is a really big recruitment opportunity! We should try as individuals to recruit our 'out of unit friends' and their friends. #BringBackTheFunOps2025!
  5. Operation Lost Winds DISCLAIMER: This is a ONE-LIFE event. This is to make the operation more challenging and potentially creating a slower pace. Additionally, due to the nature of the event, there will not be a set end-time. The end-time will be when the BLUFOR commander calls off the event. This could be due to low numbers to complete the objective, low supply, or other factors. These missions are designed to be difficult and unforgiving. However, it is recognized that we are still playing ARMA and there is always a potential for getting ARMA’d. If in the event you die or disconnect, that will not count towards your one-life rule. Lastly, this is a PvEvP event. The emphasis on the final (P) is very light and they will be used at the OPFOR commanders discretion for reconnaissance purposes, force multiplier purposes, or logistical purposes. It should be noted that this is not inherently a PvP event and the major focus is still on PvE and RTS. Orientation Map: Serhiivka Time (Starting): 0630(Local) Weather (Starting): Clear Terrain: Flatlands, Fields Signup Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PWm8ZMOwlipUogJu_TOuDtO9BrOUXcg0q9hXbch4WY8/edit?usp=sharing Situation V1/8 has been on standby during the 24th MEU rotation in the area near the coast of Spain. An immediate emergency was called upon by the occupants of an embassy in the Serhiivka region, near the Northeast area of Romania. The occupants inside the embassy have announced that there is a Russian invasion currently firing upon the Serhiivka airfield. Furthermore, the Russians have been tipped off by local forces identifying that the Russians have encamped in multiple places throughout the region. It is likely that this has been a planned event long in the works by Russian forces. Mission It is the mission of V1/8 to help evacuate any U.S. citizens. Additionally, it is imperative that the airfield is reopened in order to quickly move supply into, and out of, the area. The Marines of V1/8 will be quickly deployed to conduct combative and humanitarian operations in the region of Serhiivka. Highers Mission: It is the mission of higher command, to fully evacuate any U.S. citizens and re-establish a logistical line at the Serhiivka airport. Execution Commander's Intent: (BLUFOR CI TO DECIDE) Enemy Key Strength: The enemy has good knowledge of local terrain. The enemy has overwhelming numbers The enemy has access to heavy armor elements The enemy is equated in tech Enemy Key Weakness: Enemy likely has a lesser logistical chain due to their overbearing numbers Exploitation Plan: V1/8 will use strategic maneuvers and attacks on the enemy to push and repel their forces out of the airfield. End-state: V1/8 will have successfully taken the airfield and evacuated any U.S. citizens that are in the area. Scheme of Maneuver (BLUFOR CI TO DECIDE) Admin / Logistics Rules of Engagement (ROE) Uniformed forces should be confirmed they are not GREENFOR before being engaged. Non-military model vehicles should be considered civilian, and should not be engaged. Destruction of civilian property and infrastructure should be avoided where feasible. CASEVAC/Reinsertion Plan This is a ONE-LIFE event CASEVAC’s are highly encouraged for a full heal. Reinsertion should be coordinated through a designated TOC (Tactical Operation Center) Enemy Prisoners of War (EPWs) Any unit that captures a prisoner of war will follow all rules of armed conflict and treat the prisoners humanely. Search, silence, segregate, safeguard and tag all EPWs and bring them to the senior leadership. Ammo/Loadouts All resupply will be conducted in game using the logistical and supply system. Control Mods are standard 15th Mods with the addition of one or two others. All other control measures should be set up by the BLUFOR commander.
