For the past few months I've been a bit busy learning how to code and program game modes for ArmA 3, I've recreated Fallujah Insurgency, the one we used to play back in ArmA 2, A friend of mine is doing me the favor of hosting it, I'd like to invite you all to come and try it out, I've been testing it with a small batch of friends, and I think it's time for more players to test it out.

As for the mods, honestly I do not know if I can upload the html here, feel free to let me know where it would be best to share it, joining the server from the launcher will also download you the needed mods

hey! thanks for making this happen.

i've been waiting much too long for an arma 3 version of insurgency. i really missed playing insurgency on the old Arma 2 server with 15th MEU and i think there were other groups too.

 

let me try to get on and muck around. i havent played insurgency mode for so long i have really forgotten how its done.

from my memory its try to find ammo caches hidden all over the map and blow them all up to finish it right?

I too have been hoping to see it again in ArmA 3, but it never became true, therefore, I decided to make it myself.

 

Yes, the whole point is to destroy some ammo caches, and as to find them, enemies have a chance to drop evidence which will give out a marker for the ammo cache's location. Currently the amount of caches is fixed, but after ironing out any issues that might pop out, I'll look into turning that dynamic and depending on parameters

i have few questions:

  1. are there any civvies like in liberation?
  2. are the ai supposed to be this dumb? i cleared 5 squares near to the fob solo at night and only 2 times got shot at but not gotten hit at all.
  3. how does intel look like? are they briefcases dropped when enemies die? i vaguely recall that from previously.
  4. are those vehicles in the fob free for anyone to use? whats the consequence if we lose them? how to we regain them back?

1. there are civies, they are dressed similarly to the enemies, so ID your targets
2. Previous AI tuning had a small issue with a line of code, so replaced it all back to default, will retune more carefully
3. it's a book that lays 2m near the enemy's body, it has a 2% chance to drop
4. vehicles on the FOB are free to use by anyone, the vehicles are on a respawn timer, if abandoned or destroyed, so feel free to destroy them.
you can spawn your own prefered vehicle as well, though it will not work as a respawn point nor will it respawn, look for 2 monitors near the recruiting guy, there's one for helis as well by the halo jump boys

Feel free to stretch things and make a mess, that way the bugs that need fixing will pop out

 

Also, if the server appears offline, more than welcome to hit me up with a pm on Discord so I can see what's wrong with it and fix it

There are no role restrictions, the ultimate restriction will be weight load
