Situation

Japan has attacked the U.S., we have held our ground outside of this war for as long as we could stand.  The time has come, we have been awoken from the rising sun.  The Japanese empire has evoked our slumber and we will now take up arms to the Pacific front.

There is a set of islands, Solomon islands in the South Western pacific.  Guadalcanal, this island plays a major role in our campaign.  Specifically we will be taking the Henderson Airfield.  U.S. Marines have landed on the island, tensions are rising, and this airfield is about to be ours!

 

Mission

It is the mission of 3rd battalion 1st Marines Alpha Co. to move into position to the South Western end of the airfield.  It is expected of the 1st Marines to take the Airfield within the week.

 

Execution

Alpha Co. will make movements from our ALZ to the Lunga Bridge. From the crossing we will take the western end of the Airfield and begin our push laterally to the East.

 

Admin / Logistics

Small arms with attached weapons squads.  All movements will be solely foot movements.

 

Control

Higher leadership will be less stressed during these operations.  I will be giving more designated objectives and ideal movements, schemes of maneuvers and such.  Platoon HQ is going to be making on the ground decisions, if higher intent is too much they will be capable of saying this is too much or making quick movement decisions. 

In the hopes of giving Platoon HQ more FUN playability for these FunOps rather than taking on a stressful job.
