Operation Occlusion 

 

Disclaimer: this is not and will not be an easy mission, as seen in the past these operations are meant to challenge the players with both in game abilities and with teamwork abilities. Let's have some fun.

As always this is a public event, everyone is allowed and encouraged to join, 15th members AND NON 15th Members.

 

It is HIGHLY suggested you have backpack on chest for this operation, though it will not be required

Situation:

With the Rangers holding key points to the west, the Germans have been granted ample time to dig in further inland. There is a large group of Germans taking the city of Neaville, it is our job to put a stop to this! If they capture and hold this point we will no longer be able to take our air assets further inland without a large change in course. The British Airborne have joined our efforts for this and they will help assist in the disruption and liberation of our objectives. Good luck gentlemen and godspeed. 

 

Mission:

It is the mission of the 101’st Airborne, 1st platoon Alpha Co. callsign Dragon, to take and hold key positions, to include overtaking any enemy held LP/OP’s, AA positions, and local roaming enemy patrols.  

It is the mission of the 6th British ADV Charlie Co. callsign Lion, to conduct disrupting ambush attacks on incoming German convoys, holding supplies and men.

 

For 1st Platoon only - there is little to no reconnaissance as to where any emplacements are currently; it is suspected that they are heavier set towards the city itself and the surrounding homesteads. Be aware of enemy presences while making a sound plan. 

 

For the British 6thADV only - German convoys are expected to come down two major roads, one from the north the other from the east.  You can expect armor and high volume of enemies to be moving both mechanized and on foot.

 

It is the overall objective to take and liberate the city of Neaville. meanwhile repelling the enemy attacks on all sides cutting off supply lines and causing disruption in the enemies normal flow. 


Execution:

This will be at the Co. Commanders discretion 

 

Admin / Logistics:

Respawn Rules - Respawns will be conducted via Mobile Respawn Position set by your team 

Success and Fail Rule - One team member must be living from your team to be considered a successful mission. 

Both groups will have one MSP a piece

 

This mission will have no set ammunition requirements or gear requirements. It is HIGHLY suggested that you use the given default loadouts from the beginning of the operation. Resupply can be found on the MSP’s

RADIOS will only be found on the MSP for communications between the platoons; each MSP will have ONE (1) radio so do not lose this item.

Yellow:   Imminent Combat Det

Orange:  Shift Fire Away

DZ’s are at your platoon commanders discretion
