I have some veterans in my family and I would like to get a small experience of what it is like to become a soldier. I am applying to the 15th MEU because this mil-sim unit appears to be professional and has a large roster of dedicated members. I was in my High School JROTC Battalion and while there I learned a lot about leadership and the military structure, which has lead me to having a curiosity as to what combat is like.
