Operation Long Claw ‘Vidda Provence’ Saturday, 08 October 2022 @ 1800 CST 1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Division Situation Over the past couple weeks there have been strings of reports to the CIA that a group of Russian military deserters have formed their own militia calling themselves “The Redeemers”. These men have made it their ultimate goal to not only take revenge on their own country, but they have also vowed to tear the world of the west away and strip them of their power. It has been reported that this group has been in contact with an unknown source to obtain a new generation of nuclear warheads. With permission and cooperation of the Vidda government, they have allowed a detachment of Marines to take control of their unused military air base, so long as we do not interfere with any civilian towns that have not already been confirmed to have enemy presence. Mission With help from the VIdda government, they have given us some mild intel on the locations of hostile forces. They have holed up into some unmarked nuclear bunkers where they are holding armaments, cash, officers, and possibly valuable intel. If hostile forces are seen we’ve been given the green light to make first contact. When entering bunkers high explosive are NOT to be used. ALL Air Wings must receive clearance from the Forward Air Controller prior to lift off, insertion of troops or equipment, extraction of troops, equipment, EPOW's, and must get clearance to engage targets. During or between engagements, reinserts will come in waves of at least 3, and will only be allowed to cross the LD during times of little to moderate contact (Zeus discretion).
