- Why do you want to join the 15th MEU (SOC) Realism Unit? I served in the USN from 04-08. I miss the military comradery. I enjoy military simulators and had a blast playing through some of the Arma3 campaigns a few years ago but got incredibly frustrated with the squadmate AI. I had no idea something like ya'lls server even existed until I started seeing Eli stream it. I didn't want to join just any public server since I hate that John Rambo style of gameplay that plagues Battlefield and such. I like to approach simulated combat the same way I would IRL.
