  1. What do you mean by a "sight" ? Do you mean the camera or the reticle within the cockpit? The camera definitely has IR. Similarly, I've never had the issue you describe with the laser. The 18 does have a much narrower angle with which to spot the laser, maybe try to make sure you're approaching the target head on at a proper angle. This would be an especially big shift for individuals who only use the APKWS missiles which are overpowered and essentially able to turn on a dime. I recommend not using those and instead learning how to use bombs like the GBU-12 if that's the issue. The pylon losing loadout thing is well documented. You just need to double check that the loadout is really loaded before takeoff, there isn't any fix I've found. FWIW, we swapped to the 18 because the "amazingly easy" maneuverability of the F35 is incredibly overpowered. The AV8 was likewise very overpowered, although admittedly less so as the AV8 is just slower and lacks the organic stealth stat of the 35. The F-18 mod we use is more challenging sure if you only used the other aircraft as overpowered death machines, but it's more fun too if you know what you're doing.
  2. I have also experienced this bug previously, and have tried to fix it. The only way that I can reliably fix the issue is to fully close Arma 3 (not back out of the server even, fully alt+f4) and in the 3 years I was in Zeus we never confirmed an easier way. I did hear Delgado fixed it once by killing the real body of the affected Zeus and then they were able to control themselves again, but I never personally confirmed this and it's possible Delgado was just tripping as nobody else I talked to got it to work either.
  3. This is not the place for this, @Pvt A. Smith take it up with your CoC somewhere not visible to the public. @Sgt Zahj You should know better, try to keep these things internal next time. Requesting thread be locked so HQ can deal with the OP issue without any other chime-in.
  4. Visitors to our forum- It has been a time honored tradition that during the deployment cycle the troops of the 15th MEU Realism Unit write letters to loved ones detailing missions, activities and thoughts as if they were away from home for the 6-7 months of a typical MEU deployment. This helps with the immersion of the deployment cycle and has, at times been very humorous for members and at times very realistic as they sometimes reflect actual content of letters written from real service members when they were deployed into harms way. These letters have, over the last few deployments been posted in the more public area of our forum to allow the casual visitor the chance to get a glimpse of what goes on in a realism unit of our size during the deployment cycle. This thread will be the "Post Office" for our deployment which began earlier this week. If you wish to become part of the unit after reading some of these posts or watching some of our videos, don't hesitate to hit the join button, We are always recruiting.
  5. Nice shot, I thought it was from the Gator shooting at me. I'd like to point out that I never actually engaged anyone with that AI, y'all kinda murdered an innocent bystander, but I got my revenge at 1:40:20.
  6. AlCON; S-9 Event Staff is going to host a public event on the public server this weekend from Friday at 1800 until op time on Sunday (~48hours). To celebrate us going on deployment, we will be running a Tanoa Liberation campaign over the course of the whole weekend, hopefully culminating with us taking the whole island by the end of the weekend. There won't be any significant Zeus for the mission, and it won't be anything custom, we just want to max out the server for as long as we can. We'll be restricting ourselves to a more-or-less organized task force, but we won't be holding sign-ups ahead of time. Please consider stopping by to help support the unit, I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there! SSgt P. Caesar S-9 Civil Affairs Chief
  7. Have a video showing our fearless leader becoming a temporary sex slave for Hirohito. Don't tell me my frames suck, I already know. Also enjoy a view of the server fps.
  8. Photobucket changed their stuffs so that we can no longer use them to host images for our site in the way we currently do without paying lots of cash. Last I heard Penny was trying to test alternatives but wasn't getting it to quite work. I'm certain somebody who is more familiar with the problem / solution will reply soon.
