• Why do you want to join the 15th MEU (SOC) Realism Unit? I'm a former infantry Marine now working as a photojournalist covering Afghanistan. I'm looking to get involved with this unit because I'm looking for a group that's interested in realistic milsim game play as both a way to relax and connect with people into this kind of gaming. I've watched matches on youtube while in Afghanistan and now find myself with the time/internet access that would allow me to participate. I'm in the US about half the year (in Afghanistan the other half) so when I'm actually in CONUS I'll be able to play regularly and am looking forward to contributing to the group as much as I can.
