  2. HN (FMF) S. Davis Law Enforcement Detachment, 15th MEU(SOC) FPO San Diego, CA 92102 Hey Mom, Sorry I couldn’t call, we were rushed out of Mexico quicker than I expected. These ship side deployments suck, I prefer solid ground. We had a blast in Mexico before the training started. Sgt Mays took us all out to an old bar and the guys drank themselves silly, morning formation was a harder fight then the FTX. Training is more of the same but unfortunately, my second corpsman, Brian Doughty was transferred out before we boarded for Mexico. Master Chief says I should have a fresh replacement before we hit the deck on the next stop. About that next stop, well, it looks like we are being deployed to some island on the tip of South America. President Trump said we need to stand with our allies. I’ll go where the navy sends me. It should be pretty smooth sailing (mind the pun) on our way there, but we are supposed to be one of the first elements on the ground. Looks like a pretty simple mission out the gate, we doing a REDACTED. We trained for this pretty heavily back in California, looks easy from what I have heard about the locals. Anyway, I will write again when I have chance. I’ll be spending my time training this new guy before his first real operation. Unlike last time, I’m packing an extra pair of long johns, frozen wastelands be damned. Let Dad know he is the next up on my call list, that or I’ll write him. Also, I have included my first helmet cam footage in the SD card. Please, don’t watch it, just hold on to it for me. With Love, Shelby
  3. Recruit Training Class Bravo Mondays @2000 CST Instructor: HN (FMF) S. Davis Assistant Instructor: Cpl LaFave INTRODUCTION Hello Recruits, Recruit Training Class Bravo will be on Mondays @2000 CST (8:00 PM Central Standard Time), every week in one of the Classroom channels on TeamSpeak. Class will take approximately two hours. You will need the the following mods: @CBA_A3;@15thMEU;@15thACE;@15thAmmo;@RHSUSF;@RHSAFRF;@RHSGREF;@RHSSAF@CUP_Terrains;@task_force_radio correctly installed and ready before you sign up for this class. These mods can and should be given to you by your Recruiter. If they have not already done so, seek out a different Recruiter or come to any Recruit Instructor. If you would like to test your mods, you may do so by contacting your recruiter or a recruit instructor to get access to a 15th server. If you do not have these mods ready to go when the class starts, you will be asked to attend another time. This is meant to speed up classes and not make people wait for those who haven not taken the time to check their mods prior to class. I should be in the classroom channel approximately 15 minutes before the class starts to help anyone with problems. SUPPORT AND ADDITIONAL HELP If you require extra assistance with your mods or just assistance in general, feel free to seek out any Recruiter or Recruit Instructor. They are here to help you to the best of their abilities and to make sure that your transition into the 15th is as easy as it can be. However, we also have help on the forums readily available for you. If you would like a step-by-step instruction on how to properly install your mods, please refer to our Arma 3 Mod Installation Tutorial. If you have questions regarding mod installation, launcher setup, or even general questions about the 15th, feel free to ask at our Help Desk. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions): Q - What TeamSpeak Channel should I be in? A - The channel can be anywhere in the "Classroom" section. The instructor for the class should post a global message in TeamSpeak confirming the channel to be in at or around 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes before class begins. Q - What should I do if I cannot attend after signing up for a class? A - The respectful thing to do would be to edit your sign up post and write "Disregard" or something similar. If you don't, and just do not attend the class, your class may wait extra time for you in case you "show up late." Q - What should my name in TeamSpeak/in-game be? A - As detailed in your Welcome Aboard PM, your name should be "Rct [Lastname]", without the brackets. The structure is the exact same in-game as well. Q - What should I prepare and/or bring to recruit training? A - The only thing you should bring is your recruit application and a learning attitude. CONTACT If you have any questions or concerns regarding Recruit Training, please message: Recruit Instructor: HN (FMF) S.
